"What if I made art like a dude?... Is this stupid?"
I wrote this on a post-it while thinking about doing a series that was completely stripped of the materials I was most comfortable with: fabric, ornamentation, etc. So I tapped into what I saw growing up. My dad meets my brother meets redneck country bumpkin. The entire process was super fun: researching dude stuff like Chuck Norris & awesome cars, using the wood burning tool and then hearing suggestions for future engravings from real dudes.
